Welcome friend.  Odds are if you have stumbled across this website, you are connoisseur of classic Role Playing Games.  Clearly you have an appreciation of the finer things in life.  Be it a classic TSR Dungeons & Dragons module, an uncommon Judges Guild supplement, that super cool Call of Cthulhu campaign box set, or a more modern alternate cover of a new Wizards of the Coast book release, you’ve chosen to have a physical copy of something in our increasingly digital world.  You love hold the book in your hands, to flip through the pages, smell the paper, and put it in a honored spot on your bookshelf.

Maybe it brings back memories of your childhood.  Or it is an urge to be a completest.  Whatever the reason you search for items to fill out your collection. Personally, I collect a few of the early TSR rarities, but my ongoing hunt is for RPG items that have been released and then recalled due to a legal issue, usually around name or content.  Think the Battledroids game becoming Battletech or Aeon becoming Trinity.  

For over 25 years, The Dragon’s Trove has been a trusted source for out of print Role Playing Games.  I cut my teeth as a gamer on the early D&D Basic Pink Box, and grew up in the heyday of the RPG industry and have followed Battletech since it was in it's 2nd Edition.  Along the way, l’ve worked full time in the Game industry (owning a wholesaler in the early 2000s) and was one of the auctioneers at the annual Gen Con game auction in the 2000-2008 time frame.  I’m still collecting and still learning about the history of this great hobby.  Hopefully I can share some of the knowledge I have accumulated over the years and maybe learn something from you along the way.
