The Dragon's Trove is one of the oldest new and used gaming stores on the net that buys/sells/trades out of print role playing games and accessories (as far as I could tell, it was the FIRST store selling used games to be based off a web site). Since 1994 it has provided the net community with items that most traditional stores have long since forgotten about.
The majority of the products that are in stock are from TSR, but there are also lots of other companies (FASA, GDW, Mayfair to name a few) and products represented. One never knows what will come in with a collection that I buy, and sometimes the strangest things will come through here. So if you don't see it now, who knows it may be here the next time you look. With years of experience, I know what items people are generally looking for, and keep an eye out for that obscure stuff by Midkemia Press, Digest Group Publications, etc., so check back often. Interested in selling or trading your collection to me? Take a look at this web page for our want list.
The latest stocked items will be put on the Items Just In section as they arrive from my distributors (at the top of each listing). T
Requests - if you have a request for an item that you do NOT see in my catalogs, send an e-mail to info@dragonstrove.com with the word "Request" in the Subject line and I will do my best to find it for you.

New Web Site Now Active
Want to see our new site that is about to go live? - click here to see item pictures, a much improved ordering system and on-line order tracking. You will need to create an account on line to place orders, even if you have previously ordered from us! If you do NOT see what a new item want to order, just send an e-mail and I will get it added immediately, if it is available. We still have lots of current material to add into the site.
Old Site - For the time being, we are going to keep up the old site, as there are still some lines we have not transferred into the new database. Pricing on items in the new site may be different, but prices listed in the new site are what we will go with.

S.E.T.I @ Home - click here to help search for Alien Intelligence (Something all us gamer's know is out there anyway, now we just have to convince the masses).
There have been visitors since 3/1/96. Counter provided by the web counter.

I strive to provide the best possible service, sell items that are strictly graded, fairly priced, and shipped in such a manner that they will not arrive in a mangled mess. This operation grew out of my desire to complete my personal Dragon Magazine collection. I found that there were very few places that would have issues I needed, so I started buying collections and selling off the pieces I didn't need around 1992 (you may see some of my old ads in Polyhedron magazines around issue 80). Since 1994, when The Dragon's Trove became the FIRST World Wide Web based store selling used items, the requests for more and more items prompted me to carry modules, rulebooks and most other accessories from all kinds of game companies and the rest is history. Basically in addition to the out of print items, I can get virtually any in print game from my various distributors. If you don't see it, and it is in production, just ask.
Who am I? I am not just a dealer, I am also a collector, I know what it is like to order an item and find that when it arrives it is nothing like what you thought it would be. It is even worse when it has been haphazardly packaged and was damaged in shipment. I try to note every defect that an item has and grade it in a system that is loosely based on the one used for comic books. Therefore you know what you are buying up front, and hopefully there will be no surprises. If you are still not satisfied with an item (even I miss things occasionally), I am willing to take it back for credit on other items, or replacement if there is a defect that I missed. I am confident that you will be satisfied.
Credentials - I have served and currently still serve as one of the auctioneers at the Origins, Gen Con and Shorecon game auctions. Member of the Game Manufacturer's Association (www.gama.org). This industry is my full time job (so I am not about to screw anyone over), I get to sell fun for a living, and think that is a nice career!
I have a 2200+ rating on E-bay under the user name dragonstrove. Check out my feedback there.
As much as I like E-bay, and do occasionally buy things from it, the problem is that tons of wannabe dealers have come into being due to the miniscule costs of being a "dealer" there. Many have no concept on grading items or completeness of said items. Shipping those items is either haphazard (I have had items arrived wrapped in a paper thin envelope that were of course destroyed) or extremely expensive, often both. They simply want to sell as much as possible for as cheap of an investment as possible. After all, why worry about a rep when you can just change ID's if you get some bad marks? The selection you see listed here is available as you see it. No worrying about being outbid at the last minute. You are paying for quality, well graded and complete items. So, be confident when you buy from The Dragon's Trove, you will get what you pay for.
